If you listen to the show regularly you'll know that I can't get enough of talking about pointless surveys. Well this one is even more pointless than the one about your favourite colour – it's about your favourite biscuit!
Yep, the humble Custard Cream has taken the title of Britain's most loved biscuit! 6000 people were surveyed and the majority of people praised it for being fun to eat! And I've got to admit I completely understand where folks are coming from with this.
There's various ways to eat one – you can eat it whole as it's just the right size to fit in your mouth (having said that I could do the same with a Wagon Wheel)! Or the way I tend to do it is bite the top off, lick the cream off and then dunk the rest in my tea – perfect!
So here's to the Custard Cream – one of life's simple pleasures and much more fun to eat than a Digestive!
