Police have released CCTV to identify a man who used a stolen bank card to splash £300 on sim cards and cratch cards at shops in the Cotswolds.
It is believed that a man has entered a black Jeep which was parked on Foxcote in Andoversford between 7.30pm and 8.30pm on 6 June before stealing the victim's backpack which contained her purse.
He left in a red Ford Focus, with a partial registration of CA14, and went on to use a contactless debit card and credit card at a number of shops and petrol stations in Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold, purchasing over £300 worth of sim cards, top-up cards and scratch cards.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and may have dashcam footage of the theft taking place, or further information in connection to the registration of the Ford Focus.
If you have any dashcam footage, further information about the red Ford Focus or can identify the man pictured please call 101 with incident 429 of 6 June or email PC Joe Lewis on email@example.com.
