DCS was started in 1994 by entrepreneur Denys C. Shortt.  Based on Timothy's Bridge Road,  the company has grown from zero to £130m sales and employs 250 people.  

DCS is the UK sales and distribution company for Procter & Gamble, Gillette, Colgate, Unilever, L'Oreal, Osram and many more. Denys Shortt recently invested £3 million into a brand new factory in Stratford-upon-Avon which makes toiletries. The company now manufactures not only its Enliven brand, but also for Wilkinson, Next and Superdrug. www.dcsmanufacturing.com 

In 2000 Denys started a business with 16 year old Andrew Butt called Enable Software.  This company now has sales of £2m, employs 20 and provides software to major companies such as Sainsbury’s, Asda, RBS, and Laing O’Rourke. www.enable.com 

DCS supports the local community with sponsorship of Stratford Town football club www.stratfordtown.net  as well as the Shakespeare Hospice and many others. In his spare time Denys is Chairman of the Coventry & Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership where he is helping lead the region to create jobs and growth.
