Original plans to close seven Warwickshire Fire stations have been whittled down to four.
In a report ahead of a meeting next week the Chief Fire Officer says closing Bidford, Brinklow, Studley and Warwick Fire Stations would deliver a fitter and stronger fire service for the future.
A final decision will be made at a council meeting on the 20th July.
