Once again Evesham comes together to celebrate the glory of the river and bank side with a spectacular FREE festival for all the family!
Some of the great events lined up this year include; a boat parade, fireworks, live music from well known artists The Fallows and Andrew James, flypasts by a Lancaster bomber and a Spitfire, a brass band plus much, much more.
To ensure the event
continues we ask that you please give generously to the bucket collection, which
will be on-going throughout the festival. Any income raised goes towards the
event for next year, but also to worthy projects designed to enhance the town and make it a better place to live!
In the past the
River Festival has provided the floral clock at the Almonry Museum and the
coloured lights along the riverside.
The festival wouldn't exist if we didn't have
the boaters nor would it all happen without the many local people and
visitors who attend, so we thank you all for coming and wish you a perfect
time at the 2011 Evesham River Festival!
